California High Wage Earner Child Support
Representing Athletes, Celebrities & Entertainers
In most paternity cases, the father will be required to pay child support based on the California guidelines. In 1992, the California legislature adopted a formula (The Dissomaster) to calculate child support. This forumla is based on the incomes of both parents and the amount of time the child spends with each parent. However, when the father's pay is measured by millions the court uses other factors to assure the necessary support payments are made.
At Stolar & Associates in Los Angeles, our clients know that they can count on us for confidentiality and for a fair resolution of child support issues. We represent mothers and fathers in high-earner child support cases, including those involving professional athletes, celebrities, entertainers and businesspeople, and those establishing support from those categories.

When a child is born outside of marriage, that child needs the support of both parents.
If you are the mother of a child, our child support attorneys can guide you through the process of establishing paternity and determining child support. Since such cases often involve high-earner celebrities or sports figures, we will deal with the issues quietly but effectively so that your child will have the father's financial support.
If you are the father of a child, you have rights and obligations — the right to spend time with your child, the obligation to provide for the child's support. Ask your lawyer about paternity testing. We will negotiate child support that fits the circumstances and meets your financial obligations to your child. We will treat your case with absolute confidentiality.
